OMAHA, Neb. (March 1, 2024) —Vivid Clear Rx, a pharmacy benefit manager, announces the appointment of Amy Wadstrom as its president. Wadstrom previously served as Vivid Clear Rx’s senior vice president and chief operating officer.

Wadstrom brings more than 25 years of pharmacy experience to the leadership position. She has helped lead the company since its establishment as a Hy-Vee, Inc. subsidiary in 2020. Wadstrom has extensive knowledge of the retail pharmacy and pharmacy benefit industries and will lead Vivid Clear Rx in its continued mission to bring superior service and transparent pricing to pharmacy benefit plans.

She received her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Drake University and became a full-time pharmacist in 1999. In 2000, she became an assistant pharmacy manager for Hy-Vee and later that year took over as a pharmacy manager. In 2009, she was promoted to pharmacy supervisor, overseeing more than 60 retail pharmacy locations. Wadstrom was selected to help lead Vivid Clear Rx, Hy-Vee’s established pharmacy benefit manager, in 2020 as vice president, clinical operations. In 2022, she was promoted to chief operating officer, and in 2023, she became senior vice president and chief operating officer at Vivid Clear Rx.
